What kind of timing device is used?
Trivium Racing will be using bib tags.

On the 5k course only will strollers be allowed but you will have to line up in the back behind runners without strollers in the last wave. No dogs, bikes, skateboards, or rollerblades, or scooters.

How many aid stations are there?
There is one aid station on the 5k course, 2 on the 10k course, and 4 aid stations on the 1/2 marathon near the following mile markers: Mile 1.5 / 4 / 9 & 11. More specifics will be provided in pre-race emails.

Where is the best place for my family and friends to watch and cheer?
Spectators are welcomed. There is ample space to watch and cheer at the start/finish line at Millennium Park. There is also good viewing from Butterworth, near mile 11 (see the route map), near the turnaround on Indian Mounds Dr., or near the pedestrian bridge over the river (if you want to walk a mile or so).
Where should I park?
Because we will be running from the Millennium Park Meadows this year, parking will be much more accessible than in previous years. There will be ample parking in the Meadows on the east side of Maynard. If that fills, there will be additional parking across Maynard in the Millennium Park parking lots. The race start/finish will be a short walk across Maynard to the Meadows.
Will there be a gear check?
No. Due to the close proximity of the parking area, runners are encouraged to keep their items in their cars. It is about a 2-minute walk.
